Rodriguez Rod & Cycle 1972 Ironhead Drag Bike

This is a bad ass 1972 Harley-Davidson Ironhead Sportster that is owned and built by Josh Rodriguez of Rodriguez Rod & Cycle in Manchaca, TX. You’ve seen some of his work on the Discovery Channels “Texas Car Wars” and here are some pictures of his drag bike.

It started off as a sand drag bike and was once owned by Cal Westendorf. After the engine blew up, Josh bought it as a basket case and over the next five years built it into what it is today.

The motor was built by Charlie Machado “The World’s Fastest Mexican” and it has XLCR cross pipes (x pipes), three piece centerline wheel, V-Rod fairing, and Josh did the awesome metal flake paint. The total build cost, only $650.
